This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We store a few values in your browser's session storage — so the opening animation isn't repeated, and to group the pages of a single visit. They disappear when you close the tab.
Analytics
We measure visits ourselves, without third-party analytics. We record which pages are viewed, roughly how long and how far they are read, page-loading performance, coarse device type (phone, tablet or desktop), the referring website and campaign tags, and shopping steps such as adding to the bag. For this browsing measurement we do not store your IP address or browser details (poster scans are different; see below): they are combined with a key that changes every day into an anonymous code that cannot be traced back to you or linked across days. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record nothing.
Posters and invite links
The anonymous measurement above applies to browsing the site. Scanning one of our posters or opening an ambassador's invite link is recorded in more detail, so we can see which posters work, where and when. For each scan or invite visit we store: the time; which poster or ambassador it came from and whether it was a QR code or a link; your IP address; your browser's user agent and, from it, your device type and model, operating system and browser or app; your preferred language; the website that linked you, if any; your approximate location (city, region and country) worked out from your IP address on our own server; and, as the page loads, your screen size and your device's time zone.
We also set cookies for up to one year: a random visitor code that lets us recognise the same device scanning again and link your scans to an order you later place, a 30-day cookie linking a later order to the poster, and a 30-day invite cookie so you receive the invite discount and the ambassador is credited. We use this information only to measure and improve our posters and ambassador program. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers, and no third party receives it: locations come from a database stored on our server. We erase IP addresses, user agents, visitor codes, screen sizes and cities after 12 months, keeping only totals such as device type and country.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record none of this and set no poster or visitor cookie; an invite cookie is still set so you can receive the discount you were offered.
Ambassadors
If you join the ambassador program, we store your invite code, when you joined, the results of your link and posters, and your store-credit history. Orders placed with your invite are linked to your account so we can credit you. You see only totals: we never share the names, emails or addresses of the people you invite.
Orders
We accept e-transfers to [email protected]. We store your order reference, items, name, email, delivery address, optional phone number, and payment and shipping updates to process and deliver your order. Clicking “I paid” records your declaration; payment is confirmed separately after we receive it. We do not collect your banking credentials.
Saved checkouts and accounts
Checkout details are saved as you fill in the form, including incomplete information, so you can return and we can assist with unfinished orders. A customer account record is created when you enter a valid email. You can place an order without verifying your email: the order is linked to your browser and to the email you entered, and your payment instructions email includes a private link back to it. Entering an email alone does not sign you in: to see your account and order history, or to use store credit, you must verify a one-time code sent to that inbox, or use a password you previously set. Your signed-in cart, saved address, and orders are stored in our database. Essential cookies keep your cart, checkout, and secure sign-in session working. Poster and invite cookies are described above. You can sign out from your account.
Email and address search
Resend delivers sign-in codes, payment instructions, order confirmations, and shipping notices on our behalf. When you type in address search, that address text is sent to Google Maps to suggest Canadian addresses. You can also enter your address manually. These providers receive the information needed to provide their services and may process it outside Canada.
Checkout reminders and promotional emails are optional. We record your choice separately from your order. You can withdraw that choice in account settings or contact us. We do not treat starting a checkout as permission to send marketing.
We retain order records needed for fulfilment and record keeping. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account or unfinished-checkout information, subject to records we need to keep.
Contact
If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Write to [email protected] to request access to or deletion of any correspondence.
